Alerts are objects in BNDRY that bring important issues to a user's attention. Alerts appear prominently in the BNDRY interface, and must be Acknowledged or Resolved to be cleared. Alerts ensure that users can take appropriate action on things where human judgement is required.

Policy Triggers

Alerts are triggered by policies that are configured in BNDRY's Policy Engine. Policies evaluate data and activity in BNDRY, and trigger Alerts when certain conditions are met. For example, an alert might be raised when the results of an Identity Verification process indicate a liveness match of below 50%.

Alert Types

BNDRY provides a number of default Alert Types for common alertable scenarios. Customers can also define custom alert types if required.

Acknowledging and Resolving Alerts

An Alert remains active and clearly visible in the platform's dashboard until it is cleared. An Alert can be cleared when it is Acknowledged or Resolved. Acknowledging an Alert indicates that it has been reviewed by a user and no further action is required. The Alert acknowledgement will retain an audit trail of Alternatively, if further action is required, Alerts can be resolved by completing a required action. This is commonly:

  • Performing Customer Due Diligence
  • Creating and fulfilling an Unusual Activity Report
  • Conducting Enhanced Due diligence

By enforcing explicit acknowledgement, BNDRY ensures that every alert receives attention and is handled in a consistent, auditable manner.
