The Policy Engine is a central component of BNDRY's orchestration capability, which automates workflows through intelligent decision-making and coordination. You can configure Policies in BNDRY based on your organisation's specific processes and tolerances that automate the necessary actions when certain conditions are met.

Policy Inputs

The Policy Engine evaluates against the following inputs:

FeatureDescription
Entity ChangesCheck for any material changes to an Entity including changes to ownership structure, registered address, identification details, and more.
ActivitiesEvaluate against the results of Activities including Identity Verification, PEP and Sanctions Screening, and Adverse Media Screening.
EventsMonitor events that are posted to BNDRY including transaction activity, customer activity, behavioural observations, and more.
SchedulesConfigure schedules that trigger Alerts periodically. For example, configure a schedule that triggers an Alert to conduct Ongoing Customer Due Diligence for high-risk customers yearly.

Policy Triggers

When the evaluation criteria defined in a policy are met, the Policy Engine can trigger:

FeatureDescription
ActionsRun Activities or Automations to automatically
AlertsNotify users of issues requiring human attention.
WorkspacesCreate Workspaces that can be used for further investigation, and/or gathering data internally or externally

The Policy Engine enables you to proactively manage compliance by turning data and events into action, automating responses where appropriate, and highlighting information that requires human attention.
