BNDRY Actions allow you to run simple tasks and orchestrate complex workflows between different systems. Actions in BNDRY consist of Activities and Automations.

Activities

Run and track key compliance tasks. Activies leverage our library of third-party connectors, and allow you to run and track key compliance processes.

Automations

Run end-to-end risk and compliance flows. Automations are configured as a sequence of tasks and Activities that automate repeatable processes.

Activities

Activities allow you to run key compliance tasks. Activities often leverage third-party integrations that BNDRY has connections with. BNDRY Activities include:

ActivityDescription
PEP and Sanctions ScreeningScreen entity against global watchlists for PEP and Sanctions matches
Adverse Media ScreeningScreen entity against aggregated sources to identify negative or adverse media coverage
Identity VerificationVerify identity documents, including passports, drivers licenses, and national ID cards
Calculate Risk RatingCalculate an entity's risk rating based on entity data and risk factors
Self-VerificationGenerate a link to enable a user to self-verify, including document scanning, and biometric and liveness verification.

Automations

Automations allow you to run end-to-end risk and compliance flows. Automations chain together Activities and other BNDRY processes to allow you to put repeatable risk and compliance processes on auto-pilot. We're continually adding to our library of Automations. Get in touch with our team if you'd like to configure your own Automation. Available BNDRY Automations include:

AutomationDescription
Individual Entity OnboardingAutomates the onboarding process by providing a customer sign-up form with embedded ID verification, creating an entity profile, running AML checks, and finally signalling your systems of the results via webhook.

Invoking Actions

Most Actions in BNDRY can be invoked in three different ways:

Invoke TriggerDescription
UserUsers can manually trigger Actions through the Actions menu in the UI
APIActions can be triggered programmatically through the API
PolicyPolicies can be configured to automatically trigger Actions when specified conditions are met.

Manually Log Activities

You can log backdated Activities for actions that occurred outside of BNDRY.

Every Activity includes a manual log option, allowing you to specify the date, source, and a custom payload. This makes it easy to track any activity related to entities, ensuring BNDRY serves as the single source of truth for all Activities across your organization.

For example, you may want to track that an ID has verified outside of BNDRY by manually logging an ID Verification Activity.
